The End
I'm sorry to say Model Book Club is no more. Disappointing for all sorts of reasons. Sounds like something positive might have come out of it (and offshoot of MBC), and for that I'm happy. But I'm sad thinking about what this could have been...
I Rick Lax wrote the kick-ass book Lawyer Boy: A Case Study on Growing Up. He’s been to magic camp, the Tsukiji fish market and law school. At one point, he could play Fantasie-Impromptu and perform Guy Hollingworth’s Reformation, but that was long ago. These days he spends his time dressing as an octogenarian, reuniting feuding prop comics and stealing urine mats from Las Vegas casino bathrooms.
